Shopping with my friend at the Florida Mall this past weekend, I came across a store with a great selection of shoes - its too bad the website doesnt have all the gorgeous pumps in pale pink, grey, lovely colors.  I learned to give a fair chance to all stores - you never know what lovely shoe treasures you will find.  So if you are inthe area of Florida Mall in Orlando, check them out.

Shopping Tips to Find Great Deals

Although I havent posted some of the great deals I find from time to time at my fave stores TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross and Forever 21... I must share important tips on how to find those hidden treasures at these great stores.

Shop during the week, very seldom on weekends. 
less crowds, organized merchandise - its so much easier to find colors, sizes and dressing rooms are free

 

Shop during the day or early evenings.
more than once I've stopped by TJ on my way home after work and they were just taking out new merchandise to the floor.

Bring a list with you. 
I sometimes take inventory of the pieces I need, such as brown pair of slacks, new jacket, tops, etc.  This way I TRY to focus on my list and control my impulses :)

Thou shall not pass a great deal... if in clereance, or an irresisteble price. 
I've purchased party dresses, winter clothing when not particularly looking for them... but the discount and price were so low, I knew I loved it, and when the occassion arrives, I'm prepared. 

Get in - Get out
Don't spend too much time in one store.. if nothing caught your eye within the first 15 minutes.. don't force to grab someting just because - you wont be happy once you get home

Set a Budget 
always ask yourself do I need it? do I love it? can I afford it?  the most rewarding shopping experience is the one where you know you didnt break the bank.

I'm really happy and I've got to share the news with you.  The Free pair of Jeans promotions from GAP and Facebook really worked.  I was the 10th person in line to receive the FREE pair of Jeans coupon.  I was so very lucky since only 10 coupons were given out at my store location.  I saved $63 on an awesome great pair of jeans!
